niXon maNson

I know the Title is a bit funny, but we are not in our RV anymore. As of Jan 1 we officially moved completely in our home, in Kyle Texas. We are loving it so far. Way bigger than the RV as you can see. The first picture is the girls room. We decided they needed to share a room for a few more years.

This picture is of the bar area looking into the kitchen.

We had a very icy morning on December 10th. Had ice all over the car and the girls had to go look at it. Don't they look cold it is 29 outside, and the wind is blowing hard. Right after the picture we opted going back in the trailer to thaw out.

Thankgiv'n Days

Just updat'n all who get a thrill out of know'n about things the nixon clan is do'n. Thanksgiv'n was all about food. No kidd'n uh. Every year we have Thanksgiv'n with Rusty's Parents and Grandparents (Nixon). The girls spent the day before Thanksgiv'n mak'n pies, cookies, and thaw'n out the turkey. Usually Thanksgiv'n day is when we all pitch in and cook the main meal.

As you can see the girls like to play in front of the camera. If not skat'n they are danc'n and yes ev'n fight'n too. They are just happy they are out of school and play'n it cool.

Thought I was going to get to make it to Grandma Asbury's for Thankgiv'n, but after eat'n lunch, I just couldn't see myself driv'n all the way over feeling so misserable and sleepy. So grandma please forgive me for not show'n up. Will make up for lost time next time.

That's pretty much it for now. Atleast until Christmas Holidays.

Happy Holidays to all.

Who's There?

Who's there? Hey are you watching us. Oh, You need to know about us. Well, we are still in Kyle, Texas and still living in our RV. Nothing will change until January when we start looking for a home. We chose to live in an RV because Rusty got a job with a company that would be mobile. A few months ago he got a promotion that would keep in Austin. So we have done some investigating around Austin. And, we have found a few homes that we are considering. But it all takes time. Tick tock, tick tock. I think I am about ready to find us a home, and have room. The RV is okay but it is a little cramped at times. I am still homeschooling the girls and love it. I don't think I would do it any other way. I have really had lots of time to bond with the girls. Speaking of the girls they are growing. Sarah is 9 and Beka is 7. They are both doing great. We have chosen to put both girls in extra activities. Sarah is taking drum lessons and loves it. Her teacher asked her if she wanted to be in a band the second lesson. And, Beka is taking ballet lessons. She is having a great time learning to dance. Hey when you are done close the door!
